Transportation 4 America Advisory Services

Cityfi works with 3 cities selected by Transportation for America (T4A) to support pilot project implementation and ensure shared and disseminated learnings from curb management/space allocation pilot projects to other cities and stakeholders.

Cityfi recently contributed to the development of COVID and the Curb, which explores how cities can maximize the curb for the public good in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as Principles for Universal Curbside Language & Standards, which explores common principles and standards for curbside management project collaboration.

Method

Cityfi brings city-specific knowledge, program management experience and private sector relationships to provide technical assistance to cities so that they can deploy solutions, align timelines, measure impact on key outcome areas, and communicate the findings with stakeholders. Cityfi also helps T4A facilitate the development of best practices and recommendations to better connect values and actual practices around critical questions facing cities’ design and management of the curb. Cityfi works with T4A to ensure that lessons learned are developed and packaged to provide useful tools and policy recommendations to other cities, institutions, and organizations.

Due to COVID-19, the curbside management pilot projects in the three cities ended prematurely. However, Cityfi worked with T4A to develop the two publications of lessons learned from the work that was completed within each city and cohort-wide.
